After 66 years of serving generations of Portlanders, Lloyd Center’s final week has come and gone.

The iconic shopping center closed its doors for the final time at 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, marking the end of one of Portland’s most recognizable landmarks. Throughout its last few days, tenants, community organizations and supporters hosted a series of farewell events, giving Portlanders one last opportunity to celebrate the place where so many memories were made.

Following mall closure, mall furnishings, fixtures, artwork, landscaping and other property will be responsibly repurposed, recycled or donated whenever possible.
